It's been a while since I have written in this thing - no news, good news, right? Not much has been going on...it's oddly quiet, why do I get the feeling that isn't a good thing?
Shouldn't the Prophet be reporting something atrocious and painting it fabulous by now? I am beginning to think no one enjoys hostile take overs and exploitation any longer. Hm.
On the plus side, my daughter said "Dada" the other day, whether Lily choses to believe it, or not!

Indifference is really a state of bliss, though I'm afraid I can't really say it is MY state at the moment. But I'm sure people appreciate it. I do. Indifference is just that moment where you realize "this does not concern me, I could care less. Ooooh tea!" Now, I don't think I will ever again be able to say I could care less in days like these, but I have learned to enjoy tea. It's...you know, good dirty water. I am happy for those who are indifferent AND drink tea. You lucky bastards! I salut you!

I am tired of posting angry rants at what is happening around me. The events never cease to amaze me...and yet, somehow, it is different this time. It's almost as if I expected it to happen. I wonder what that means, I wonder if in the end we all accept, even me? That's probably the saddest thing I've ever fathomed in my entire life, and I simply can not allow it to happen. If anything, this makes me want to fight even more.
Or maybe all we can do in the end is to hide? Hide everyone in danger, it seems to be the only thing we are capable of doing.
We live in the world where no news is actually just BAD news. Terrible news.
Lily is drawing a hole on the living room carpet and I am being morbid - doesn't ANYONE have ANY news at all???

[Very strong hex. James' close friends and family only. Because James didn't bother to measure it properly, the note might give even those who can read a small little shock]
[Handwriting shaky and hard to read] So. Huh. You know what I noticed??? Like, we don't really need food or sleep like, at all!! True story! That's uh, something those stupid healers tell you - one of their many lies. Because they lie, did you know that? When they say my wife will be okay? How the fuck can I believe that when she hasn't been up once in two days, right? Hahaha!
Hm...Uh ooooh Hahahaha! I totally do not know why I crossed that out! . 8 &
And that just goes to prove my point. Because me? I haven't bothered with futile things such as sleep and foood. Screw that. It's healer talk and I hate healers. The only healer I like refuses to talk to me. No talking to James.
Though if I die, can I have some ice cream first, please? Thank you.
So kids, the healers SAY mummy is going to be alright. I believe only what I seeeee. And Daddy doesn't need sleep. And Lucy, you won't know because you can't really read, can you, baby?

I know, grief, big toads and all the like, right? But can someone, after looking at the pictures below blame me for still finding a great number of reasons to smile?

HAPPY EASTER!!!!!
I love chocolate! Aside from my birthday and Christmas this has to be the BEST time of the year EVER!!! And Lucy actually munched on her first bit of chocolate today, can you believe it? My little girl all grown up, drooling sugary brown stuff instead of regular milk! And while Lily may not be thrilled that I gave our three month old candy - well, I sure she understand that Potters have needs after all! And candy is one of them!
It's nice to have the kids around, isn't it? Nice and safe now, aren't day? Kind of makes a difference, not having the pit of my stomach in a constant burning state.

You know how sometimes the tiniest things can just change your day/week around? Yeah so last night...Well, it's really nobody's business but I'm ELATED! This is even better than pranking annoying kids in school, it beats the crap out of outwitting Death Eater scum some idiots out there, it's just - I'm HAPPY! That's really all you need to know.
Lucy looks absolutely beautiful, she keeps her eyes wide open all the time and it's amazing how much she already looks like her mother. Though, she does like night time, I wonder if it's too soon to ask the erm- godfather to babysit. Maybe I'll even ask her godmother so come along too.

Lily and I are delighted to inform you all that Lucy Elizabeth Potter was born just a few hours ago. We have been waiting anxiously for our daughter to arrive for so long, and yet she surprised everyone by arriving almost a month early. She is perfectly healthy and we'll be able to bring her home tomorrow.
( Private to Friends of the Family )
I'm happy.

Harry,
Your mother is in labor. Please take the enclosed permission slip to professor McGonagall so that you can come see us later in the afternoon. Your sister has decided to surprise us by coming a few weeks early, the healers say she'll be here by the end of today for sure.
I wish I could say more, but I need to tend to your mum. Hope to see you very, very soon.
Love,
Dad
[Enclosed is a permission slip requesting that Harry leave the school for the remainder of the week to visit his family.]
